With start of Benighat board, on your right side, you will see the building with red brick looks which has stranded on slides off the road to blue Trishuli River. This is a Quick Stop Restaurant which serves you fine Nepalese, continental, Indian, Chinese and Italian Cuisines.
Quick Stop Restaurant is a dream project of a tourist line driver Mr. Somlal Maharjan. He has established this restaurant knowing the needs, wants, like, dislike of the customers after experiencing 40 years on the tourist line driving and hoping to fulfill all the needs and wants of the customers with better facilities, well trained staffs and hygienic food. He has a challenge that you will find nowhere on the highway, restaurant like this with cleanliness, location, scenario and food price.
This restaurant runs by his older son Mr. Suman Maharjan. Hotel Management Graduate Mr. Maharjan has 5 years experience as a food handler from a reputed cruise company known as MSC (Mediterrian Shipping Company), an Italian Shipping Company. Being a food handler in such a big and reputed cruise company, Mr. Maharjan has knowledge of different types of cuisine and is well familiar with CPC (Critical Control Point), HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point), Danger Zone, Hygiene and Sanitation, Crowd management and most importantly how to handle the food safely. So he guarantee you that you will get hygienic food on a reasonable price in this restaurant.
The restaurant started since 2011 serving customers with different cuisines and beautiful natural views. The restaurant was with limited space and flow of large number of customers that time. So Mr. Maharjan and Family feel that the restaurant space needs to be enhanced. So Mr. Maharjan and Family were in break for years for maintenance and renovations with the building. From May 2018 onwards, the restaurant is re-opened now with more enthusiastic and more energy to serve warm hospitality to higher number of customers. The restaurant has now big open hall on the ground floor and more open space on top floor with beautiful roof top view of nature and blue Trishuli where you can enjoy different cuisines on open natural environment.
The Quick Stop Restaurant is situated at very unique location of Benighat. All the way from Malekhu to Benighat, Blue Trishuli has followed on the right ride. In the same side, the restaurant is located and from the restautant main hall, not only the blue Trishuli, but also wide and even much bluer, the Budhi Gandagi river can be seen. Both rivers, Trishuli and Budhi Gandagi get merged in one point and flows in single Trishuli with bigger stream. With the delicious and variety of cuisines in mail hall area, every guest can have a wonderful confluence view of merging both Trisuli and Budhi Gandaki rivers into One Trishuli.From the rooftop view, one can enjoy wonderful view of both Trishuli and Budhi Gandaki river flowing streams separated by big and green mountains and that confluence point.
